government grants single mothers education-How can a single mother get grants for education in Indiana?

I want to get out and work, but since I had my first kid while in high school it messed up my life kinda and I never got around to getting an education. Now that things are somewhat calmed down I want to pursue getting my high school diploma with a nationally accredited online program from Lincoln Academy. I

pell grants single mothers-Pell grant. Single mother..I need help?
We've agreed to divorce , we've agreed to conditions, arrangements, me living on my own with the kids working part time and going to college. Now I'm going to be single, scraping things together with my kids and school and I am told they are going to consider my income as my ex husbands from the tax return that gets filed next year when it won't be. How do I avoid this? Or show them I Don't have access to that income ??

free college grants single mothers
free college grants single mothers-My fiancee is a single mother. She is Mexican and Puerto Rican. She wants to go to college.....
Are there any kind of grants or scholarships where she can attend a local college for free because we can't really afford anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Answer by Trina GIt is all a little bit situational. Is she a legal resident or have a SS#? If so she could apply to fafsa.ed.gov and have all her 07 tax information. That would start the process of applying for grants.
If she is not, she is not elegible for certain grants like the Pell.

free school grants single mothers
free school grants single mothers-What's an approximate amount of Federal Aid granted to a single mother?
Does anyone have any "for instances" or examples....or even know somone in my position...I am a single mother of one, working and paying for everything BY myself. (Luckily my parents watch her while I work, so daycare is free) I made right around $ 15000.00 last year, and much less this year. Is daycare taken into consideration since I'll be in school and not working? I'm planning to attend a local junior college to get my associates degree and then go from there...any suggestions? Thanks:)
