I dont know how to pay for college?

I have always loved learning and to be honest, if you didn't need a degree to do a lot of jobs I could just as easily get the books and teach myself! Anyways you do so here's my question, I have a few choices but two outweigh all the others and I really don't want to do either of them. I can either 1, go into the military and get free online college then when i get out of the military I get 70k for college. OR, I can get a financial aid which I REAALLY don't to do because
