I'm 24 yrs old, in college - would it be wise to attempt the ACT's again for a high score for a scholarship?
In high school, I performed pretty well on my ACT's - score 28. If I pursued it, I could have probably received some hefty scholarships from any college of my choice. Instead, I joined the military for 4 yours, and now that I'm out and currently going to school, I was wondering that if I took my ACT's again and scored just as well, would/could there be any scholarships out there for me?

I'm 16 and a junior in high school. This past year has been nothing but stress in my life. All I think about almost EVERY DAY is what I'm going to do with myself as far as a career. What are the pros and cons of getting an HPSP scholarship?
I'm in high school right now and am thinking about how I'm going to pay for medical school. It sounds really cool to be able to serve America by being a doctor in the military, but i have a couple of questions that i was hoping someone could answer.
1) How hard is it to get accepted for an HPSP scholarship? (specifically in the air force)

home grants single mothers-I am a single working mother, 40 hrs/week. "Make too much $ for assistance" Which is bull. Know of any grants?
I am a single working mother of 1 little boy, work 40 hrs/week, I own my own home...I bring in 1/2 of my gross due to insurance & taxes. Im trying to find some type of Govt Grant or assistance for single mothers. Has anyone done something like this? Or any advise?

If I don't have an income, but file as head of household, no one else can claim me as a dependent, I'm not on food stamps, I'm not in low income housing, as a single Mom with one child, will I be able to take advantage of the Earned Income Credit & still manage to get a tax refund for 2010 for the 2009 tax year?? I only get 220 a month for child support, and am literally living on my grants & student loan each term.
