housing grants single mothers-Single mother of one, & FT college student. Quit job 09/2008; will I get a tax return in 2010 w/EIC?
If I don't have an income, but file as head of household, no one else can claim me as a dependent, I'm not on food stamps, I'm not in low income housing, as a single Mom with one child, will I be able to take advantage of the Earned Income Credit & still manage to get a tax refund for 2010 for the 2009 tax year?? I only get 220 a month for child support, and am literally living on my grants & student loan each term.
