home grants single mothers-I am a single working mother, 40 hrs/week. "Make too much $ for assistance" Which is bull. Know of any grants?
I am a single working mother of 1 little boy, work 40 hrs/week, I own my own home...I bring in 1/2 of my gross due to insurance & taxes. Im trying to find some type of Govt Grant or assistance for single mothers. Has anyone done something like this? Or any advise?

Answer by JillIf you live in the US, no, there are no "maternity grants" like they have in the UK. If you don't qualify for assistance, you don't qualify. You might be able to qualify for WIC though, their
